Brooke Alexander  –  Partner

Brooke is an attorney in Fort Collins, Colorado, specializing in all areas of family law. She is licensed to practice in both Colorado and New Mexico. Brooke has personally experienced many of the different family law cases – from being adopted, through being the child of divorced parents, and having a custody case of her own, which is why she dedicates herself to these types of cases.

​Brooke is passionate about giving back to her community. She is a member of the Fort Collins Chamber of Commerce, Larimer County Young Lawyers Division, the Family Law Section of the Colorado State Bar, and regularly spends her time volunteering in various capacities. In an effort to give to the community, Brooke provides legal service to those of modest means in partnership with the Larimer County Courts. Brooke also provides legal help to victims of domestic violence in partnership with the Rocky Mountain Victim’s Law Center.  

​Brooke graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in the Spring of 2015. Brooke spent many hours in school participating in practical experience courses prior to graduation. Brooke prosecuted cases under the supervision of Special Council with the Second Judicial District District Attorney’s office in addition to cultivating an enriching experiencing assisting faculty in providing meaningful representation to low income families through the law school’s clinical program. 

​Brooke is exceptionally knowledgeable in areas of child custody and child support across state lines. She also has experience with high asset divorces, including forensic recreation of stock accounts and bank accounts, and is familiar with high conflict divorce and custody matters. Outside of family law, Brooke has experience with contract law, collections law, criminal law, and worker’s compensation. 

Allan Ewert, Esq.  –  Partner


Allan is a Californian turned Colorado “native.”  After moving to Colorado as a teen, he attended Colorado State University where he earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in history.  Allan then attended the University of Colorado Law School.

After law school, Allan went to work for a firm specializing in civil litigation.  His practice spanned a diverse range of cases, including personal injury, trusts and estates, business disputes, and real estate.  As a result, he gained valuable knowledge and experience in many different practice areas.  He also honed his litigation skills, including evaluating client’s needs, negotiating, and taking matters to trial when necessary.

In 2017, Allan joined a family law firm to apply his broad background to the specific challenges of family law.  At the end of 2018, he started his own firm, Alexander & Ewert, LLC, with the goal of providing client-oriented and he prides himself on delivering high quality representation that extends beyond the courtroom.  Allan works hard to help clients through difficult times by devoting significant time to understanding their individual needs and providing the best representation possible. He is a member of the Family Law Section of the Colorado State Bar.

Like many Coloradans, Allan enjoys spending time in the mountains hiking and skiing.  He is also a former collegiate bowler, board game enthusiast, and self-admitted nerd.

Ginger Geissinger, Esq.

       Senior Associate Attorney

Ginger was born in Boulder, Colorado.  She decided to become an attorney to follow in the footsteps of her grandfather James D. Geissinger. Her grandfather was licensed in Colorado to practice law in 1935.  Ginger graduated from University of Colorado Boulder with undergraduate degree in 1997.  She attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and graduated in 2001.  


Ginger became a licensed attorney in 2004.  Her first job was as a Deputy District Attorney in Sterling, Colorado.  Ginger switched sides to be a defense attorney in 2006 and moved to Greeley, Colorado.  Ginger focused her early practice on juvenile and criminal law.  Ginger has taken many cases to jury trial, bench trial, and many final custody hearings.  In 2010, Ginger started her own practice focusing on juvenile delinquency and parent representation. She has represented parents in difficult situations across the State. She is well versed in litigation, especially when it comes to custody matter.  

In her spare time, Ginger is a self-proclaimed geek.  She attends Denver’s comic con every year.  Ginger also supports the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund and the Denver Art Museum. Ginger also enjoys being in Rocky Mountain National Park, reading, and cooking.
